| QUESTIONS ABOUT THE VEHICLES |
|
What
type of vehicles do you use?
It depends on how many people you have in your group. If
you are a small group under 8 we use a Suburban. If you are a group
pf 8 or more then we will put in an Econoline van or in a Toyota
Hiace van which will accommodate up to 14 people.
We have more than 14 people but less than
28 for two vehicles what can we do?
Let us assume that you have 20 people for a Tulum Private
tour. The price will be the $754 ($424 the cost for 14 people in
1 vehicle + $330 the price for 6 people in the second vehicle.)
That makes the average cost $37.70 per person.
If we take two vehicles can we divide
the group as we wish?
Absolutely. You have both vehicles and you can put 10 in
one and 10 in the example above.

OR ACTIVITY |

While
we have a scheduled tour can do other things too?
Yes you can do whatever you desire with the van for the
allotted time. If you want to completely change the itinerary once
you are in the van, simply talk to the driver. As long as you do
not go over the allotted time for your tour you are free to do and
go anywhere you desire. See something interesting along the way
by all means have the driver stop and check it out.
We would like an ice chest in the van,
is that possible?
Yes for no additional charge we will include an ice chest,
and then you can have the driver stop a t store and fill it with
ice and the refreshments of you choice.
The other option is that for $6 per person we will fill the ice
chest with beer, water, sodas – diet and regular.
Is the driver also a guide?
Your driver is not a guide for the archeological ruins
but he is your guide for the area. Please feel free to ask his recommendations
on things to do and see. You will need to pay a guide for any of
the archeological sites at the site entrance.

How do I know you have a vehicle for me?
If you reserve 10 to 15 days in advance you have a 99%
chance we will have a vehicle for you. We recommend you send in
your reservation, complete with your credit card information, and
a vehicle is not available we will call or email you with when we
do have a vehicle available. It is extremely rare that we do not
have a vehicle available but be sure to include your phone number
on your reservation form so that we may call you in the event there
is a problem.
Is it possible to make a reservation when
I get to the Cancun or Riviera Maya?

as possible so that you are sure to get the trip when you want to
go. To make your reservation once you arrive in Cancun call us at

| QUESTIONS ABOUT ARRIVING
BY CRUISE SHIP |
|
I am arriving by cruises ship to Calica.
Can I take a private tour?
No problem. What we will need to know is the time your
ship arrives. Please make sure it is local Playa del Carmen time
as “ship time” is always the time from your departure
city – which could be central time or eastern time.
We will then pick you up at the appointed time –your decision
– at the Calica cruise ship dock and away you go.
I am arriving by cruise ship to Playa
del Carmen. Can I take a private tour?
No problem. What we will need to know is the time you arrive.
Please make sure it is local Playa del Carmen time as “ship
time” is always the time from your departure city –
which could be central time or eastern time.
We will then pick you up at the appointed time at the Playa del
Carmen cruise ship dock and away you go.
I am arriving by cruise ship to Cozumel
how can I take a private tour?
No problem. What we will need to know is the time you arrive.
Please make sure it is local Playa del Carmen time as “ship
time” is always the time from your departure city –
which could be central time or eastern time.
Once you disembark you will need to take a cab to “Ferry Dock”
in Cozumel. The ferry leaves every hour on the hour except 11 AM
and 1 PM. Buy a one way ferry ticket for each person (cost $11.00)
to Playa del Carmen from one of the two companies. We will then
be waiting for you, 35 minutes later, in Playa del Carmen where
we will have a driver with a sign with your name on it and away
you go on your private tour.
Going back to Cozumel you must remember that the
ferry leaves every hour on the hour at: 1 PM, 3PM, 5PM, 6PM, 7PM.
Note that there is no 2 PM or 4 PM ferry.
The reason you should buy a one way ticket is
that there are two ferry companies and they alternate hours when
the travel. Also they do not respect each others tickets so you
do not want to have a ticket for one company that is not going at
the hour when you need to go.
