Paradise Horseback Riding

Your horse back riding tour begins when you arrive at the spectacular Maroma Beach in the Riviera Maya, considered to be one of the Top Beaches in the World by the Travel Discovery Channel.

You will explore the Mexican Caribbean with a delightful horseback riding journey. So bring your hat, boots (closed toed shoes recommended) and enjoy a real Mexican cowboy experience! A great way to admire the Yucatan jungle and its beach. Spend quality time with your loved ones as you ride in the natural environment, viewing the flora and fauna of the region.

The friendly staff will welcome you and offer a brief explanation about your Paradise Horseback Riding tour. Then, head towards the jungle where your guide awaits you with a group of beautiful well-trained horses. Safety tips and advice on how to ride your horse will be provided and they will choose the horse that best suits your skills.

A professional guide will lead the way as you relax to nature’s sounds and the splendid scenery. Ride past open sink holes, known as “cenotes,” beautiful trees and tropical surroundings. Continue the journey to the beach for some wonderful Caribbean landscapes. This tour is the perfect combination of land and sea beauty.

After a ride on the white sand beach, get more comfortable and get in the crystal clear water with your horse for the experience of a lifetime. The contrast of the turquoise waters and the experience of riding in the Caribbean Sea may be the highlight of your vacation or holiday.

Treasure the moments with a photograph. You will finish your horseback ride steps away from a marina where you can use the beach facilities and engage in other activities such as: Jungle ATV’s, Speedboats, Wave runners, and Parasailing, not included in this Horseback Riding Tour. Paradise Horseback riding is fun for all ages. Paradise Horseback riding is great for families, couples, teens, friends and group events.

After your ride enjoy our beach club and just relax, or take an ATV & Speed Boat Adventure or go for a Paradise Reef Snorkel adventure or simply hangout on the beach and wait for the Sunset Dinner Cruise.

  • Pick-up at CRAB HOUSE restaurant km 14.5 in Cancun: 8:00AM, 10:30AM, 1:30PM
  • Pick up in Playa del Carmen is at Plaza Playacar. A map will be sent when you reserve: 8:45AM, 11:15AM, 2:15PM
  • Pickup time from Calica will vary depending on when your cruise ship arrives. We will send exact instructions when you reserve.
  • Riviera Maya, Pick up time will vary depending on your hotel. Exact pick up time will be sent when you reserve:  7:50AM, 10:20AM, 1:20PM

Returns Times from the beach club to your hotel: 12:00PM, 1:00PM, 2:00PM, 3:00PM, 5:30PM, and 8:30PM

Note: A map will be sent when you reserve showing how to get to CRAB HOUSE for pick-up. The maximum weight to ride the horses is 265 lbs. or 120 kilos.

We have hotel pickup. When you reserve we will send you the exact time of pickup in your hotel lobby.

We have our on car. Can we take this tour?
Yes, we will send you a map with instructions on how to get to the horseback riding ranch. From the Cancun hotel zone your approximate travel time will be about 40 minutes.

I have never ridden a horse. Is this tour for me?
If riding a horse is something you have always wanted to do then yes this is the tour for you. The horses are very tame and easy going and you will have fun.

Is there a weight limit for the horseback riding tour?
Yes the limit is 120 kilos or 265 pounds.

How do I know you have space available?
If you reserve 10 to 30 days in advance you have a 99% chance we have space for you. We recommend you send in your reservation, complete with your credit card information, and if space is not available we will call or email you with when space is available. So be sure to include your phone number on your reservation form.

Is it possible to make a reservation when I get to the Cancun or Riviera Maya?
We do recommend you make your reservations as far in advance as possible so that you are sure to get the trip when you want to go. During the high season from January to August there are many times we have no space available 2-3 days in advance. To make your reservation once you arrive in Cancun call us at 898-4312 or if you are in the Riviera Maya call us at 01-998-898-4312, and from the states 1-800-860-5917. If you have a U.S. cell phone while in Mexico you may also dial 1-800-860-5917 to reserve.

What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel any tour up to 24 hours before departure and only pay a 5% administrative processing fee. If the trip is cancelled because the port is closed or due to bad weather then you will receive a 100% refund. Is the pricing on the website correct?
Yes- we guarantee the prices you see. The prices are accurate and complete meaning that there are no additional charges. Our guarantee is that you will not pay more than that published price on our website. At the end of the tour a tip is optional and is generally 10% - 15% of the price depending on how much you like the tour and the service provided. 

How can I check the status of my reservation?
It is our objective that you know what is happening with your reservation. We will send you an update if we are going to be than 48 hours getting you a response. If 48 hours has gone by and you have gotten no update or coupon please call 1-800-860-5917 from the USA and Canada or +52-998-898-4312 from the rest of the world. This tour is not recommended if you are arriving by ship. Your schedule as a rule will not fit the departure and return times of the tour.

We are arriving by cruise ship to Calica. Will we be able to take this tour?
We do have departures from the Calica cruise ship port. Pickup time from Calica will vary depending on when your cruise ship arrives. We will send exact instructions when you reserve.
