Will I catch a fish?
Yes, on a share fish trip we Guarantee everyone
will catch a fish!We do not guarantee what specie or what size fish,
but we do guarantee you will catch a fish or we will not come in
until you do. (In fact we still have couple of boats out there since
1982 trying to catch a fish.)
What can we expect to catch?
What you will catch depends on the time of year you come
fishing.

here to see a calendar.
Who determines who catches the first fish,
second fish and so on?
Women and children first –just like when you abandon
ship - then the guys determine in what order they are going to bring
in the following fish. But we do guarantee a fish for each person.Again
we do not guarantee the specie or size but you will catch a fish
but you will catch something.
Do you do trolling or bottom fishing?
When you go share fishing we decide if we troll or bottom
fish because we guarantee everyone will catch a fish.So we use all
our talents to meet that goal.
When we troll we will fish 5 lines, 2 from the outriggers, 2 flat
lines and 1 from the flying bridge.See the question above to determine
who catches the first fish.
We want to catch bill fish. What do you
recommend?
If you really want bill fish like sails and Marlin we recommend
you charter a boat and go for that specie.Second, take an 8 hour
charter. You enhance your chances.
Third, tell the captain at check in that your main interest is billfish.
While on a share fish trip you may catch a bill fish we do not necessarily
go fishing specifically for them.
How much travel time, non-fishing time,
is there?
The fishing grounds are about 25 to 35 minutes from the
dock.
What kind of bait do you use?
We use ballyhoo, mullet, and lures. We will vary the baits
depending on the fish available at the particular time of year you
go.
Do you catch and release?
Game fish which are not edible (sailfish, and marlin) are
released. If you want to mount a fish then those fish are brought
in so we can send them off to be mounted.
I want to mount my catch. Can I do that?
Yes the staff at the dock will arrange everything for you.
How much tip should I give?
Generally for good to excellent service a 15% to 20% tip
is given if the crew is appropriate.
