How do I get from my hotel in the Riviera Maya to the dolphin swim area?
We have hotel pick up for the Dolphin activities. We will send you pick up times when you reserve, just be sure to send us your hotel in the Riviera Maya.

I have people who want to go that do no plan to do the Dolphin Swim. Can they go and watch and how much does it cost?
Yes they can go. The only cost will be the $10 for the transportation which they will pay as they board the van.

I have a group of people is there a bus or a large van?
No problem we have 35 passenger buses and 12 person vans to move groups.

Questions about the dolphin activity

Can people that are not doing the dolphin swim watch?
Yes. There is a spectator area for people to watch the participants in the dolphin swim. Spectators do need to pay a $10 fee for the transportation from the hotel to the Dolphin area.

Where does actual activity take place?
In Puerto Aventuras there are canals that connect to the open sea. The Dolphin area is located in one of the protected waterways in a nice facility.

What happens if my ship does not dock in Cozumel or docks late and I cannot make the Dolphin Swim?
How do I know you have space available?
If you reserve 7 to 10 days in advance you have a 99% chance we have space for you. We recommend you send in your reservation, complete with your credit card information, and if space is not available we will call or email you with when space is available. So be sure to include your phone number on your reservation form.

Is it possible to make a reservation when I get to the area?
We do recommend you make your reservations as far in advance as possible so that you are sure to get the trip when you want to go. During the high season from January to August there are many times we have no space available 2-3 days in advance. To make your reservation once you arrive in Cancun call us at 898-4312 or if you are outside Cancun in the Riviera Maya call us at 01-998-898-4312, and from the states 1-800-860-5917.

What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel any trip up to 24 hours before departure and only pay a 5% administrative processing fee. If the trip is cancelled because the port is closed by the port captain due to weather then you will receive a 100% refund. Click Here! To see all Cancellation and Change Policy.

Is the pricing on the website correct?
Yes. The prices are accurate and complete meaning that there are no additional charges. Our guarantee is that you will not pay more than that published price on our website. At the end of the tour a tip is optional and is generally 15% - 20% of the price depending on how much you like the tour and the service provided by your crew.

I send in a reservation with my credit card and what happens?
Once you send a reservation we confirm that there is space available. Then we charge your card. We then put the confirmation number on a coupon or voucher and send it to you in an email. You print it and that is your paid receipt for the tour. You present the coupon at check in.

What happens if there is no space in the day or time I want?
If there is no space for the day and time you want we will not charge your card. We will call or email you immediately and make a recommendation as to when you may be able to do the event.

Should I send in my credit card with the reservation?
Yes because you have a much better chance of getting the tour the less time that goes by before the departure. If there is no space available we will not charge your credit card but advise when the tour is available closest to the date you want. If you send in a reservation form without a credit card number inquiring about availability then we respond, simply more time passes giving the tour more time to fill up. Again once you are ready to reserve it is best to send your reservation with a credit card. Please remember no reservation is made until we have payment via your credit card or by other means.

How can I check the status of my reservation?
It is our objective that you know what is happening with your reservation. We will send you an update if we are going to be than 48 hours getting you a response. If 48 hours has gone by and you have gotten no update or coupon please call 1-800-860-5917 from the USA and Canada or +52-998-898-4312 from the rest of the world. We are arriving by cruise ship to Playa del Carmen - Calica. Will we be able to take this tour?
If you arriving at Playa del Carmen you are a short 15 minute taxi ride away from the Dolphin area in Puerto Aventuras and you will have time to do your swim there.

How do we get to the Dolphin Swim area from the Ship n Playa del Carmen?
When you arrive by cruise ship you will disembark and there will be a Dolphin Representative waiting for you with a sign. They will pick you up and take you by van to Puerto Aventuras.

We are arriving by cruise ship to Calica. Will we be able to take this tour?
If you arriving at Calica you are a short 15 minute taxi ride away from the Dolphin area in Puerto Aventuras and you will have time to do your swim there.

How do we get to the Dolphin Swim area from the Ship in Calica?
When you arrive by cruise ship you will disembark and there will be a Dolphin Van waiting for you. Please look for the van which has Dolphin Discovery painted on it. The van will take you to Puerto Aventuras for the actual dolphin swim.

HOW TO DO A DOLPHIN ACTIVITY IN PUERTO AVENTURAS WHEN ARRIVING IN COZUMEL BY CRUISE SHIP. First: Check your ships itinerary and see if you have enough time to make the following time schedule work.
TIME NEEDED TO DO A DOLPHIN ACTIVITY IN PUERTO AVENTURAS FROM COZUMEL (Minimum 4.5 hours Maximum 9.75 hrs) MOST LIKELY TIME IS 8 HOURS
TIME NEEDED:	ACTIVITY:
0–120 minutes	Disembark your ship and get to shore by tender boat.
15–20 minutes	Take a cab to the Ferry Dock in Cozumel.
5– 55 minutes	Buy a $22.00 USD round trip ferry ticket per person from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen. Please note that the Ferrys leave EVERY HOUR ON THE HOUR. So you must take the 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM Ferry and please note there is NO 11:00 AM ferry from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen.
35 – 50 minutes	The actual ferry crossing time is 35 minutes.
15 – 30 minutes	When you disembark at the Playa del Carmen Ferry Dock you will need to walk to the entrance of the Playacar Palace Hotel. It is the hotel immediately on your left as walk from the Ferry dock to the mainland. Walk up the walkway to the street intersection and go left to the entrance of the Playacar Palace hotel. There you will be met by a Dolphin representative and you will be taken by van to Puerto Aventuras for the Dolphin Activity.
15 – 30 minutes	Travel time from Playa del Carmen to Puerto Aventuras where the actual dolphin activity takes place.
120 –145 minutes	Time for the Dolphin Activity including changing clothes and orientation.
20 – 40 minutes	Travel time from Puerto Aventuras to Playa del Carmen and arrive at the ferry dock.
35 – 90 minutes	Time needed to return to Cozumel. Depending on when you return to Playa del Carmen you could wait to board the ferry up to 55 minutes. REMEMBER the ferry leaves every hour on the hour.
15 – 20 minutes	Take a cab to your cruise ship’s dock in Cozumel.
