QUESTION ABOUT GETTING THERE

We are coming in on a cruise ship how do we get to the departure point?
Please take a taxi to Palmitas Ranch located at the south end of the island across from the Maohi Cocom Beach Club. Every cab driver knows how to get there so do not worry.

How much does a taxi cost from the Cruise Ship areas?
Generally a taxi will cost about $12 to $15 for up to 4 people.

How do I take this tour from Cancun?
This tour departs from Cozumel, so you must get from Cancun to Cozumel.
First take a cab or the city buses to the downtown bus terminal. Then board a Playa del Carmen
bus for about $5.00 USD per person one way or you can reserve private transportation from your
Cancun hotel. Click here for private transportation to Playa del Carmen from Cancun. Once in
Playa you will need to board the ferry to Cozumel. Round trip ferry cost is about $22.00 USD.
Arriving on the Ferry from Playa del Carmen take a cab and go to take a taxi to Palmitas Ranch located at the south end of the island across from the Maohi Cocom Beach Club.

How do I take this tour from the Riviera Maya?
This tour departs from Cozumel, so you must get from your hotel to Cozumel.
You will need to take a cab to Playa del Carmen. Once in Playa you will need to board the ferry
to Cozumel. Round trip ferry cost is about $22.00 USD. Arriving on the Ferry from Playa del

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE TOUR OR ACTIVITY

How old does my child have to be to ride alone?
We know that are different riding skill levels for different children.  We let the parents decide if their child is old enough to ride alone. If the parents feel their 4 year old can ride then that is fine.

To what age are children free?
Children can ride FREE WITH AN ADULT up to age 7.  If the child takes his/her own horse then the charge is the normal charge.  All children age 7 and above will pay even if they ride “double” with another person.

QUESTIONS ABOUT RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS

What happens once I reserve?
Once you send in a reservation with your credit card we will charge your card the amount of the tour. Please note that the billing on your card will be from Vista Travel and Tour in McAllen, Texas.  Then we will send you a coupon which you will print and bring with you and present at check in for the tour. The coupon is your “proof of purchase” and will have a unique confirmation number and coupon number on it and an emergency phone number to call if something goes wrong.

What if I want to change the date of the trip?
No problem, we will gladly move any tour to a different day, space permitting, as long as you give us a minimum of 24 hours notice.

Is it possible to make my reservation when I get to Cozumel?
Yes. We do recommend you make all your tour your reservations as far in advance as possible so that you are sure to what you want, when you want it. During the high season from January to August there are many times we have no availability 2-3 days in advance.

We will do our best to accommodate your other guests. Space permitting, no problem we will make the reservation for you and send a coupon directly to the provider as your “proof of purchase.”

QUESTIONS ABOUT ARRIVING BY CRUISE SHIP

What is your cancellation if my ship does not stop in Cozumel or arrives late?
If your ship does not stop or arrives late you will get a 100% refund.  If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator for any reason then you will receive a 100% refund.
