Segway Adventure and Snorkeling Tour

We will transport you from our main facility to our Welcome Station where you will get acquainted with your Segway Personal Transporter.

Once geared up and you have made some practice runs on our test track it is off to see the sites of beautiful Cozumel. Think of how you will feel as you whisk along, wind in your face, viewing the sites as you stand on your personal Segway on your way to the beach club for some snorkeling on the world famous Palancar reef.

You are going to feel like a “futuristic adventurer” as you stand on your Segway cruising along watching the jungle and viewing the blue Caribbean Sea.

At the beach club you will get full snorkel gear so that you can go and explore Palancar reef – the most famous reef in the world.

You are interested in seeing some of the best sites on Cozumel aren’t you? So see them by Segway and get to do some of the best snorkeling in the world.

I am not going to tell you that Palancar is full of marine fish and hard and soft corals but imagine how you will feel as snorkel over this famous reef. You will see multitudes of small fish and beautiful coral formations on this exciting and different tour.

Having enjoyed a beach chair and umbrella once you are rested and relaxed you will then gear up and ride back to the Welcome Station and be taken back to the main facility.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE GETTING THERE

We are arriving by cruise ship. How do we get to the Main Facility? 
Arriving by cruise ship you will be about 3-6 minutes away. Just disembark the ship and get at taxi. We will send you a map and just give it to the taxi driver. Also there will be taxis available to take you back to the ship or to downtown once you finish your tour.

Does the Segway Adventure and Snorkeling Tour have transportation? 
There is no transportation from the ships or downtown to the Main Facility. But once you are there is transportation to the departure point of the tour.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE TOUR OR ACTIVITY

Is there anyone who should not take the tour? 
This tour is not recommended for pregnant women or people with back or neck problems. 

How long does the tour take? 
The tour duration is about 3 ½ hours from departure at the Main Facility to return to the Main Facility.  Since we depart at 10:30 AM you should be back to the departure point about 1:30 PM.

Do we need extra money? 
You will need extra money for you souvenirs and for refreshments other than the bottled water provided and for tipping.

What is the weight limit for the Segways? 
The weight limit for the Segways is 250 lbs or about 114 Kilos.

Do you provide the snorkeling equipment? 
Yes all necessary equipment for snorkeling is provided.  If you have your own snorkeling gear please feel free to bring it.

I have never been on a Segway – is that OK? 
Most people have never been on a Segway which is what makes this tour so unique and fun.  We have a practice area where you will learn the ease of use of a Segway and really learn to appreciate this engineering marvel.

What happens if my ship does not dock in Cozumel? 
If you make a reservation with us and your ship does not dock for any reason you will get a “no questions asked 100% refund.”

How do I know you have space available? 
Do not worry, as people come and go we have space.

What is your cancellation policy? 
You can cancel any tour or excursion up to 24 hours before departure and only pay a 5% administrative processing fee. If the trip is cancelled because the port is closed by the port captain due to weather then you will receive a 100% refund. Click Here! To see all Cancellation and Change Policy

Is the pricing on the website correct? 
Yes. The prices are accurate and complete meaning that there are no additional charges. Our guarantee is that you will not pay more than that published price on our website. All prices include all taxes and there are NO hidden fees of any kind. Also as we do our credit card charging in the states you will not pay any “exchange rate fees” for changing to pesos and back to dollars. The cost on the website is the charge you will see on your credit card statement from Vista Travel and Tour.

I send in a reservation with my credit card and what happens? 
Once you send a reservation we confirm that there is space available. Then we charge your card. We then put the confirmation number on a coupon or voucher and send it to you in an email. You print it and that is your paid receipt for the tour. You present the coupon at check in.

How can I check the status of my reservation? 
It is our objective that you know what is happening with your reservation. We will send you an update if we are going to be than 48 hours getting you a response. If 48 hours has gone by and you have gotten no update or coupon please call 1-800-860-5917 from the USA and Canada or +52-998-898-4312 from the rest of the world. If you are already in Cancun our local number is 898-4312 and if you are outside Cancun dial 01-998-898-4312.
